Bree Chapin is a New York City-based pop-surrealist artist working in a variety of media. Her work has featured in a variety of venues in New York, including the ConArt gallery and the Castle Fitzjohns gallery on the Lower East Side. She lives with her husband, Colin, who dutifully schlepps her artwork all over town without complaint as well as two cats whose hair finds its way into at least 5% of her work.
“I am influenced by art, history, music, technology, and a love of the city. My work is largely informed by absurdity and the tragicomic nature of the human condition.”
